Ideal for learning about electronics, with a useful and fun end product you can be proud to show as something you built.

This kit is a fully electronic and visually animated take on popular board games where you play against your opponent to be the first to get four of your colour in a line.

The Gameboard area has 6 rows of 7 bi-colour LEDs - these are special LEDs that can show either red or green.

You and your opponent each has a colour - red or green.

When you start up the game, the software randomly chooses who goes first, red or green. The red and green single LEDs at the top of the game flash to show whose turn it is.

You and your opponent take turns to press a button at the bottom of the 7 columns for where you want to play your colour. The software then animates the colour as though it is falling from the top until it meets either the bottom of the Gameboard or a previously played colour.

If what you just played makes a line of four LEDs of your colour, either across, down, or diagonally, the software flashes those LEDs and you have won the game.

To start another game, press the Start button, and the LEDs that are currently lit from the previous game are all animated to fall off the bottom of the Gameboard to leave the Gameboard clear.

Complete with detailed assembly instructions to help you to assemble, and a description of what each component does that you can learn from.
